Field Mechanic

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Mechanic to join our team. The candidate will be responsible for performing routine maintenance, repairs, and diagnostics on a variety of vehicles, trailers and equipment, both on location and in-house. The mechanic will be responsible for ensuring the highest level of customer satisfaction and quality of service.

Responsibilities:

Perform maintenance, repairs, and diagnostics on a variety of vehicles and equipment, including but not limited to cars, trucks, vans, and heavy machinery.
Inspect vehicles and equipment to diagnose problems and perform necessary repairs or replacements.
Ensure vehicles and equipment are in safe and proper working condition.
Communicate with customers to explain issues with their vehicles and discuss necessary repairs or maintenance.
Keep accurate records of all repairs and services performed.
Troubleshoot problems and provide timely and effective solutions.
Work with a team of mechanics to ensure efficient and effective service delivery.
Maintain a clean and organized work area.
Perform other related duties as assigned.
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Ability to diagnose and repair a variety of vehicles and equipment.
Excellent communication and customer service skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and evenings, as needed.
Physical ability to lift heavy equipment and work in various positions.
Willingness to work on location at customer sites.
Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines.

The right candidate will be issued a truck, cell phone, and have their lunches provided daily when they are working on location. Work schedules are flexible and your hours are only limited by your drive. NO Flag time, we pay from the minute you clock in to the minute you finish whether you are on the road or actively working. You will have a high level of freedom in your day to day actions, for the most part setting out your own daily plan and executing it without supervision.
